System Status

Instruction

Please make sure your computer has all the requirements before installing the new system.

Download and install the software

• Click on the Download button below, or right click and select Save Target as on your desktop or somewhere where you can find it later.
• Download - Latest - FWSYS version 4.4.376 (15 Nov 2024)
• Once downloaded, use an archive software like 7-zip to extract the content
• The zip file only contain one file: EcoConnectFwsysDesktop-4.4.376.0-Release-x64.msi
• Once extracted, double click on the msi file and follow the instruction.
• Once installed you will have an icon on your desktop that looks like this

Run the software

• Double click on the FWSYS icon on your Desktop and enter the username and password that you have been given.
• This will bring the Welcome page.
• Then click on New workspace and you are ready to go.
• You may need to click on the refresh catalogue button to view the most recent products. This is only needed when we make changes to the catalogue structure.

• Follow the instruction given in the User Guide.

Problems

Depending on your network and computer setup you may have some problems installing or using the software.

• Can not install, need administration privilege
  • Ask you IT staff to help.
• Can not login
  • Ensure that you have the correct username and password. Both are case sensitive.
  • You network may not allow the connection to external servers, check with your IT staff
    • Ensure that you can reach this web page from a web browser: https://mintaka.niwa.co.nz/services/ProductService?wsdl
    • If not, then your Firewall, Proxy or WebMarshal is blocking access to the URL. Ensure that an exception is made for this URL: *.niwa.co.nz
